You rarely hear any of the other political parties in this nation talk at length about their values beyond the nebulous feelgood ideals of "freedom,""liberty, and "democracy."  Where do real people and their everyday lives fit into these noble phrases, so often used in an Orwellian manner by the present adminstration and those who vote to impliment their policies, i.e. the Patriot Act?
